My Style: I am often asked what my photography style is. And while I find it a difficult question to answer (I am an artist, after all!) there are a few things I know to be true.
My style is simple. I don’t do any crazy editing, nor any crazy camera tilting. I shoot with both digital and film formats and appreciate the airy, organic feel of a photograph. I love to create images that capture the essence of your story with lovely light and vibrant color.
My style is modern. Though I wouldn’t say I necessarily follow the trends, I am definitely not a traditionalist. Your wedding photographs aren’t going to look like your parent’s wedding photographs. But you already knew that, didn’t you?
My style is unobtrusive. I only step in when necessary (wrangling family members! posing adjustments!) and appreciate being there, unnoticed, to truly capture the moments of your wedding day. I strive to portray emotion with every click of the shutter.
